What I do is take the carb off being careful not to break any gaskets, take it completely apart soak it in carb cleaner blow the parts dry and reassemble. replace the fuel tank filter, plug if fouled, and readjust the HI & LO speed jets. Started PB620-ST yesterday with some difficulty. However, ran until fuel empty. Refueled today, but will not start. Spark at plug ok. Fuel flowing, but seems to overflow into air filter compartment. Does not seem to “fire” at all.
ANSWER : Sounds like your flooding the engine; I did the same thing. Wait a while to let the gas drain back to the tank. Use your primer bulb once and your choke for only ONE pull; then shut off the choke. Pull start without the choke 2-3 times and it should start.

Using the blower worked fine, now will not start at all. have replaced plug, fuel fuel filter , piston looks good no real damage or smudge. good compression and have pulled switch apart and wonder if this could be the problem
ANSWER : Check to see if its getting spark when the switch is on if it is then see if its getting fuel the only two things i can think of would be the switch or needs a carb kit

Blower starts and runs for 5 seconds and cuts off. Is it an oil to gas ratio. Is is 32:1 or 40:1? For the Echo PB250 gas blower.
ANSWER : I don’t think the oil-gas ratio will cause that problem. Did you check to see if the fuel lines or fuel filter is clogged?

I have a pb-251. replaced carb, air filter, hoses, spark plug and cleaned spark arrestor. start easily. runs fine for 2 minutes and then stalls if I give it the gas but will idle all day long.

I have a Echo leaf blower and I can get it running but then it’s cuts off after just a few seconds. It has new plug, air filter and fuel filter. What else could it be?
ANSWER : The carburetor could be dirty and need a good cleaning and you could first remove the fuel pump cover (cover without the vent hole) to the carburetor and look for the small, round, fine-mesh screen. Sometimes it gets covered with dirt and debris and has to be cleaned as it allows the fuel to flow into the metering side of the carburetor.

What fuel mix do I use in an ECHO PB413H leaf blower
ANSWER : I have a leaf blower which uses leaded petrol but i would check your user manual and if you dont have one there allways is a copy of it online.
