Use 2% fl oz (5 Tbs) per gallon of water for each 300 sq ft. If soil is dry, water before application and 2 to 3 days after application. – If green patches remain after 7 days, reapply.
The recommended dilution rate for Roundup XL is 40 parts water to 1 part herbicide. However, in severely infested areas, the water rate can be reduced from 30 parts water to 1 part herbicide for increased potency.

Adding ammonium sulfate (AMS) to the water in the spray tank before adding glyphosate will act as a water conditioner and improve weed control, regardless of whether or not a surfactant is needed.

Mixing the Concentrated Roundup Solution
Excess precipitation can dilute the chemicals and make them less effective.
For a 1% mixture you will use 1.3 oz per 1 gallon of water. For a 4 % mixture you will use 5 oz per 1 gallon of water. For more specific application rates please refer to the label. RoundUp Custom can last 1 to 3 years in storage when kept in a cool, dry place.
It is usually best to wait 24 hours before watering the grass following an application that contains weed control. Also make sure that within 7 days of the application the product has been watered into the soil either by rain or sprinkler to ensure the best results.
Glyphosate`s half-life (the time it takes for half of the active ingredient to degrade) is between 3 days and 19 weeks depending on water conditions. Glyphosate disperses rapidly in water so dilution occurs quickly, thus moving water will decrease concentration, but not half-life.
Use a 1% solution ie: 1 litre/ 100 litres of water, and completely wet the foliage but do not allow to run-off. Apply only to healthy, actively growing plants with adequate leaves for herbicide uptake.
Use of a Roundup® brand sprayer is recommended. For best results add 2 1/2 oz. per 1 gallon of water.

ANSWER : I assume you are talking mixing ratios. In most cases a 1% roundup to water mixture will kill many plants. On very stubborn species you can go to a 2% concentrate but anything above that in my opinion you’re just wasting your money. More isn’t always better when it comes to weed killers.

ANSWER : Depending on the mix of oil to gas you can purchase a small bottle to add to the gas. I believe it is 8oz. to a gal. of gas. This should give you approx. 50:1 ratio. Hope this helps.

ANSWER : I think Poulan uses a 40:1 ratio to one gallon of gas, however I have always used 50:1 the same as my sthl saws with no issue. I would rather have more oil mix that to little.
