One of the most common options for oil when using a pressure washer are SAE 10W-30 and SAE 10W-40.
Water can enter the crank case due to: Condensation on the inside of the crank case. Bad oil seals between the crank case and pump head. Cracked crank case.
Briggs & Stratton SAE 30

15 oz. of oil is required for the 725EXi Series engine (2700-2800 PSI Pressure Washers).

What Is SAE 30 Oil? The SAE 30 oil is a single grade oil with a viscosity rating of 30. It`s called a single grade (or monograde) oil because it only has one viscosity grade. This is different from a multi grade oil, like 10W-30, which is rated for both SAE 10W and SAE 30.
SAE, the acronym for the Society of Automotive Engineers, is responsible for establishing a classification system based solely on oil viscosity. To classify the oils, their viscosity is measured in cold conditions at different temperatures below zero, and then in hot conditions at 100ÂșC.
If however, your pressure washer pump does require maintenance, it will likely employ a small sight glass on the sidewall of the pump. The sight glass allows the operator to check the pump oil level at a glance. With the wash-off, the pump oil should rest 3/4 way up the window.
Experts advise doing an initial oil change after the first 50 hours of pump use. After that, change the crankcase oil every 3 months or after every 500 hours of operation, whichever comes first. High pressure plunger pumps require a specially formulated oil; otherwise regular pump oil is appropriate.
Machine Type: Gas pressure washers can typically run for about 30 minutes before they need a break. Electric models can usually go for an hour or more.
Never start or run your pressure washer without water flowing through the pump. Running a pump when dry can destroy it in a few seconds.

What oil do i use in the pump? The oil is milky and needs changing.
ANSWER : Well you can use direct recommended from Ace Hardware see link.

They recommend 250 hours, but i’d change more often, like you said when it’s milky. If it begins to get water in the oil sooner, that indicates your piston to crankcase seal is beginning to leak.

Where is drain plug for engine oil – Briggs & Stratton Gas Pressure Washer 20244
ANSWER : If you are refering to the engine, the drain plug is on the underside above the pump. Sometimes it’s located on both sides at the very bottom where the engine is bolted to the frame. It may have both of these drains, but the one on the side you can’t get to due to the frame being in the way so this is why they put them in two different spots. I hope this helps.
