25cc Gas Line Trimmer

Experienced gardeners share their insights in answering this question :
If you have spark problems, remove the wire and then remove the plug, reattach the wire and ground the plug to the engine and pull the string, you should see arc and hear it pop, if not, take the plug to another piece of equipment and remove that equipment’s plug wire and attach it to the plug from the weed ******* and then ground it and test it. If still no spark, then plug bad, if plug then the weed ******* has a problem with the spark plug wire or the ignition coil.If you have spark at first test, then the problem with the weed ******* is somewhere else.

How to Identify and Fix Common Gardening Problems ?

We provide a variety of viewpoints on how to identify and fix common gardening problems. Our sources include academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays from experienced gardeners :

Turn on the ignition switch and pull the starting cord quickly. You should see a spark in the plug gap. Since the spark may be faint, it may help to do the test in a dark area. If there is no spark, check for a broken or shorted (bare) lead wire or bad switch.
A blocked or dirty fuel filter

You need air for your initial spark – and if oxygen cannot move readily through the system you will have problems both starting and keeping your whipper snipper running. Wash the air filter in soap and hot water, then allow to air-dry.

Loss of spark is caused by anything that prevents coil voltage from jumping the electrode gap at the end of the spark plug. This includes worn, fouled or damaged spark plugs, bad plug wires or a cracked distributor cap.
Check the electric socket where you have plugged in your charger to see if it is working. You can also try plugging in a different device to make sure the power outlet is working.
The air filter may be clogged or dirty. If the air filter is clogged, the engine will get too much fuel and not enough air. As a result, the engine may stall. If the air filter is clogged, replace it.
The fuel filter might be clogged. A clogged fuel filter is most commonly caused by leaving old fuel in the hedge trimmer. Over time, some of the ingredients in the fuel may evaporate, leaving behind a thicker, stickier substance. This sticky fuel can clog up the fuel filter and prevent the engine from starting.
The more worn or dirty spark plugs are, the greater the pull on the rewind and more effort is required to produce an adequate spark. If you haven`t turned on your engine recently, your mower won`t start and/or you have to tug repeatedly on the rewind to start the engine, a damaged spark plug may be the culprit.
2 stroke has fuel and spark but won`t start

You`ve confirmed that the gas is getting to the carb, and the spark plug is properly igniting, but your 2 stroke dirt bike won`t start. The most common causes are a dirty carb or low compression.

My 32cc starts right up but as soon as i give it gas it stops…help
ANSWER : The low side carburetor adjustment screw needs to be turned counter-clockwise. Start by turning it 1/4 turn then test run. If your carb has plastic locks on the screws, they will have to be removed first. Most modern carbs require a special tool to adjust the jets. The tool can usually be purchased from your local repair shop.
