If the PTO clutch is not receiving power, the clutch solenoid is defective, or the clutch itself is worn out, the blades will not engage. Since a PTO clutch is not repairable, you will need to replace a broken or worn out clutch with a new one.
Failure of any mechanical component, a broken hose, or clogged filter will cause tractor hydrostatic transmission problems. But the most common issue will be the oil itself. In the transmission section of your operator`s manual, you`ll find a section that covers oil viscosity.
They are filled with the specified pump fluid to match each pump design and then sealed by each manufacturer at their factories. Replacing hydrostatic fluid is normally not necessary, unless the drive system is in need of some other internal service or repair.

Husqvarna 240 want start at all – Husqvarna Chain Saw 18" 450 Model 966955438
ANSWER : Sounds like the ignition module or spark plug. The ignition module is what controls the spark plug that gives your saw the firing capabilities. Before you purchase one of those, replace the spark plug and see if that works. The 240 is a newer husqvarna; so I am skeptical to say it is the ignition module. However, any new product can have a bad part on it. Your saw may have gotten flooded and won’t start. Make sure your gas mixture is 50/50 gas to mixing oil. Always use fresh gas. If you make up gas and don’t use a whole gallon at a time, put some fuel stabilizer in the mixture; so it will still be fresh the next time you use it.

I have a husqvarna riding mower that when i engage the blades the engine stops running
ANSWER : Could be something jamming a blade or belt. With the engine OFF and the key OUT make sure the blades and belts all move freely by hand. Clear out all grass and c**p from the blade and belt areas. You may have to remove the blade deck to do this – instructions are in your manual or download a manual from the Husqvarna website. Good Luck!
