If the spark plug produces a spark and you are still having difficulties starting your chainsaw, it`s time to check the gap. The spark plug gap is an air gap between the ground electrode and the center electrode. If the gap is too small, the spark struggles to ignite the fuel and air mixture.

Husqvarna 235 is not oiling.Hole and groove on bar have been cleaned. The saw does drip oil with the bar off when running.All parts are clean but bar is not getting oil.Hope you can help,thanks.
With saw running and high speed hold saw close to a piece of wood and check for oiling. If still no oil, then use air pressure at hole in bar to clear.

If there is a good spark at the plug, it can be one of two things, either the piston has picked up in the cylinder ( remove the muffler and check the condition of the piston skirt through the exhaust port ) or there is no fuel getting the the plug ( replace the fuel filter in the tank )

IT IS A HARD STARTING POS SAW, i HAVE ONE THAT DOESN’T START ALSO
I used my brand new Husqvarna chain saw for about 30 minutes then when I pinched the blade a little bit and it kicked back out at me, the chain stopped moving. I can’t even turn it by hand. The engine runs but you can tell it run wide open. and the gear that runs the chain doesn’t move either. Please help.
The chainbrake has actuated, you need to pull the hand gurd fully toward the rear of the machine until you hear the click of the brake unloading.
Husqvarna 137 chain saw – put a new plug in and won’t start run if you put a small amount of gas in plugfor just a second or so made sure gas line is not stopped up from tank to carb. less than 2 yrs old.
seems to be firing but, won’t run.
Sounds like the diaphragms in the carburetor have gotten dry and won’t flex anymore. Install a new kit in the carb and recalibrate the screws. You should be good to go.
