Pull cord will not retract, new spring fitted not the problem

Im not so sure this will help you, except to laugh , let me just say this i hope not, but this one reminded me of one a guy brought to me one day he said it wouldnt start , when i tried to pull it over , it woulnt budge not an inch , after carefull exam of pull rope , i saw the cord had broken and this guy in a fit of frustration used his daughters jump rope to replace it , thats not gonna work , this guy had over six feet of pink jump rope jammed inside this thing , i dont know how he fit it inside but there it was pink and all , i replaced the cord for him (not pink) but did offer to repaint the case pink , he said great maybe i could get my wife to run it then !! long story short maybe the cord reel inside is rubbing on something like a loose bolt or screw they do come loose lots of times ya know

What Causes Chain Saw Kickback? There are two circumstances that can cause kickback when using a chain saw. The first occurs when the moving chain at the tip or the nose of the guide bar strikes an object. The second situation is when the wood closes in, pinching the saw chain in the middle of the cut.
T Screw – Next, locate the T screw. This adjustment screw is responsible for adjusting the chainsaws idle. Begin by turning the T screw clockwise until the chainsaw chain begins to move. As soon as you notice it moving, turn the T screw counterclockwise slowly until the chainsaw chain stops.
Kickback, the result of a mechanical fault in a cylinder of an engine which fires before the piston reaches the top. The piston then goes backward while the other pistons in the other cylinders are still going upwards.
If your chainsaw bounces around when making contact with the wood, it means that that chains teeth are not grabbing on and ripping through the wood. A sharp chain will cut in a uniform and straight line.
Recoil starters generally include a pull cord wrapped about a pulley, the pulley being rotated by pulling on the pull cord. The rotational energy generated from the pull cord and pulley is transferred to the drive shaft of the engine through a ratchet and/or clutch mechanism.
The problem may be in the recoil starter itself. A tangled coil of rope or a broken spring may be the problem. In many cases the recoil starter is easily replaced as a single assembly. DO NOT attempt do take the starter apart.
Most quality OEM and replacement recoil springs should be capable of a minimum of 3,000 to 5,000 firing cycles before changing.

ANSWER : The switch connects directly to the coil body of the ignition module. You may have to remove the left side cover to expose the ignition module. The switch, when off, connects this wire to engine ground. There may be debris in the contacts of the switch that prevent contact. You will have to remove the air cleaner assembly and maybe the carburetor itself to access the switch. Good luck!

Saw runs fine for about 15 minutes,then the idle speeds up,then it dies,almost like it is flooding
