Fan belt surrounds crankshaft for drive and is attached to the hydraulic pump with a coupling. If that is loosened and the snap ring removed will there be enough room between the ends of the pump and crank shaft to slide the belt? If not either the engine has to be removed or the hydaulic pump.

You should be able to unbolt the crank pulley. If possible upload some good clear pics of the pulleys and fan belt and i could help more. Worst case and u need to move the engine, its just a few bolts on the underside of the frame and most likely u could just leave it on and move it around to give yourself more room to work.
