Put the bolts on both sides of the wheel and slide the clip through to secure them. Use your screwdriver to tighten any screws back in place. Test the new wheel by rolling the luggage back and forth—if it glides smoothly, you have replaced the wheel correctly.

A spreader bar works by distributing a load across more than one point, increasing the stability and decreasing the load applied during hoisting. They typically have two lifting points going up to transmit the load to the crane and two going down to attach the object required to be lifted.
Rotary lawn spreaders

A rotary lawn spreader will have a bucket-like hopper sitting higher off the ground than a drop spreader, the product is dropped out of the base of the hopper and it then lands in a spinning distribution disc which then flings the product out to cover a wider area.

The impeller drive wheel of my classic drop spreader won’t turn unless you have a huge load on board. I wash it out every time I use it and dry it thoroughly. I’ve removed the wheels and tried WD 40 and then lithium grease and still no luck. I want to get at the complete axle and clean it up. What is the best and least destructive way. I might try to put a stainless steel axle in there to prevent the problem again. The rest of the machine is in perfect running shape. It would be a shame to junk it.
ANSWER : I am sorry to hear about the problem with your spreader. Sometimes we have replacement parts for our spreaders. Please give Scotts a call at 877-465-5160 at your earliest convenience to check part availability. Hilary @Scotts
