Finding Your Snapper Rear Engine Rider Model Number
In order to locate your Rear Engine Rider model number, look for a white tag on the back of the mower, which, on most models, is located on the lower corner of the frame. On the tag you should see the model number just above the serial number.
Push the engine speed control to the front for high speed. This lever is on the right side of the seat. Snapper suggests always using this type of mower in high speed.

Look for a mower with at least 14-16 hp and a wide mowing deck – at least 38 inches – to get your lawn work done quickly. Locate ID Numbers on Riding Mowers
A lawn tractor usually has the ID tag under the front right wheel. Otherwise, the ID tag can be found by the back left wheel. The engine number will be found directly on the engine.
