While cutting the lawn the mower stopped and when turning the starter nothing happens. the battery is fully charged.the manual says to check the fuse put I cant find out where it is

My ride on tractor ( husqvarna yth 1848 xp) blew a fuse and I replaced it and it ran for 10 min, then stopped. AS sson as you turn the key to the on position it blows the fuse again. Seems like there is a short somewhere. Trouble shot for sometime but can not get the fuse to stop blowing.
ANSWER : Follow the wire from the fuse and you should be able to find the short. if not start unplugging lights and all safety switches and i am sure you will find it.

I have a cub cadet mower 2166, It wont start it keeps blowing the red wire fuse, I thought it was the battery so I bought a new one and cleaned the cables and ground wires, and I didnt see any loose or broken wires. as soon as you turn the key on it blows fuses please help
ANSWER : Hi,
There is a wire shorted to ground (metal) somewhere…check all the wiring for a bare spot somewhere… this is causing the short…repalce the wire and you will be good…
finding the bad spot is the hard part…

ANSWER : Check the wiring to the PTO first. if it is good either the PTO or its inline fuse has failed. try the fuse first as it is much cheaper. if it just blows again you are back to replacing the PTO.
