Starts easy will not rev up – Echo Rapid Loader, Trimmer Head
ANSWER : Sounds like you will need to clean your carburetor.
Sometimes you can get by with priming it a few times, and letting it run a few times like that and it will flush the gunk out of the jets, but most of the time you will need to rebuild the carburetor. If the mower is over a couple years old, then I also recommend that youbuy and install a new carburetor repair kit, because the diaphragm willget hard and that will cause it to be hard to crank. When you clean your carburetor and remove the jet screws, count the number of turns it takes to seat the jets from their original position. That way when you go to put the jets back in, you know how many turnsthey were in/out.Please rate me, ThanksGood Luck, I hope this helped

How do you properly load the spool on an Echo GT-2000 trimmer?
My brother gave me one and told me what to do, but I find that it
coils so tight that it kind of fuses itself. I have to pry it apart, thread
it through the two outlets, put the spring a=back, load the entire unit
only to have the same problem happen over and over again. I’m frustrated. Can this spool be replaced with something newer?
Help…thank you, Rob

Igntion coil on echo trimmer went bad, replaced with echo blower coil . there is a small difference in design but now have ignition. Engine still won’t start.
ANSWER : Make sure the air-gap between your used blower coil module and the magnets on the Echo’s flywheel is about the thickness of a regular business card. That is about .010″-.016″. The gap HAS to be present in order for the module to produce the spark.

I need to replace the whole trimmer head and I dont know how to get the gear case off so I can put the new one on. Can anyone help?
ANSWER : To replace the trimmer head you don’t need to replace the gear case. If you look closely about a 1/4 inch up from the safety guard you’ll see a hole in the side of the “gearcase” assemby. (you may have to clean the old dead grass clippings off to see it) You can shove a rod into the hole that will stop the head from spinning freely and I believe you spin the head clock wise (reverse threads) to remove the head.
