Cable chutes are often used on cable lay vessels for cable departure, but also for umbilical`s, winch wires, ropes or similar to be routed over the stern or vessel side. The geometry of the chute is decided by the use, the minimum bending radius and the tension of the product going over the chute.
Big Jobs Call for a Snowblower

This Old House recommends spraying the exit chute with a silicone (like WD-40® Specialist® Water Resistant Silicone Lubricant) to keep snow from sticking.

Inspect the drive mechanism of the chute direction system and remove any foreign objects caught in the drive system. If the drive system is clear, adjust the cable, shaft or gears that move the chute. Replace the chute control box or 4-way chute control assembly if those components won`t turn the chute.
A toilet auger is a specialized form of drain snake. Like other types of drain snakes, it has a handle that rotates a flexible metal cable that can bore through drain clogs.
The flexible chute deflector is soft and easily gives way to trees, fences or the edge of a trailer; yet it effectively controls the discharge. The chute deflector easily pivots upward, allowing a Gobbler catcher to be mounted, and it has a spring to ensure that it`s not left in the up position.
The chute control directs which way you blow the snow. To turn the chute without stopping, consider a model with a crank or lever chute. If you don`t plan to turn the chute much, then a manual chute may be fine. Read on to learn more about each type of chute!

I have a cub cadet 2165 I just put in a new battery and it is slow turning over any ideas?
ANSWER : If battery is good and everything is hooked up right. Most likely could be the pto clutch bearing. Not the bearing on the pulley but on the clutch inside. Had the same problem, took the spark plugs out got it free. Turned over easy with plugs out, Started right up after and then burned up my bearing. Don’t burn up bearing. If do field assy. For that is 200$ if you can get away with just that. Otherwise 350-400$ for full assy.
