Use a 32:1 gasoline to oil ratio. One gallon of gasoline combined with 4 oz of two-cycle engine oil.
All Weed Eater brand two-cycle gas trimmers use a 40:1 ratio of gas to oil. That`s equal to 3.2 ounces of oil to 1 gallon of regular gas. The gas should be 87 octane with no more than 10 percent alcohol. The oil must be formulated for two-cycle engines.
For a mixing ratio of 1 : 50 you need 5 litres of high-octane gas and 0.10 litres (100 ml) of STIHL two-stroke oil.
A 50:1 ratio, for example, means that you need 50 parts of gas for 1 part of oil. Different weed wacker models might have different suggested ratios, so always confirm the recommended ratio to keep your engine in good working order. The most common mixtures for small engines are 32:1, 40:1, 50:1, or 100:1.
A 1-to-1 volume ratio of olive oil and cannabis is a standard starting point: 1 cup of oil, and a quarter aka 7 grams of cannabis (when ground up, this equals about 1 cup). If you want a less potent batch of cannabis oil, use an eighth which is 3.5 grams of cannabis and 1 cup of oil.
As with plug fouling, too much oil in the gasoline, inferior oil and continued low-rpm operation can plug the screen with carbon deposits. This prevents exhaust-gas flow, which leads to power loss. In extreme cases, heavy deposits choke airflow enough to leave you with a weed eater that won`t start.
Common gasoline and oil mix ratios are 50:1 and 40:1. Meaning there is 50/40 parts gasoline to one part oil when mixed. The lower the mix ratio number the more oil per volume in the gasoline. To mix properly add oil to your gas can, then add fresh gasoline from the pump.

Many two-cycle models require a 40:1 gas-to-oil ratio (i.e. 3.2 fluid ounces of two-cycle oil for every one gallon of gas), but some older models may require a 50:1 or 30:1 ratio. The equipment`s recommended ratio is usually listed on the engine housing. If you don`t see it there, check the owner`s manual.
