According to the Hi-Yield 2, 4-D Selective Weed Killer product label, in pastures and range land: Use 1 gallon in 15 gallons of water; or small areas, use 3 to 4 fluid ounces (6 to 8 Tablespoons) per 1,000 square feet; mix 1 to 3 gallons of water and apply uniformly over the area.
LV 400 Weed Killer mix rate is 0.75 fl oz per gallon of water, per 1,000 sq ft. See product label for additional mix instructions specific to this product.
Mix 2 to 3 tablespoonfuls per gallon of water and apply with a hand sprayer to control broadleaf weeds in small non-cropland areas.
2, 4-D Mixing Ratio and Application Rate

In general, mix 2.5 oz of 2, 4-D weed killer (5 tablespoonfuls) with 1 gallon of water and use it to treat 400 square feet of weed-infested area in your yard. You can double to 5oz per 2 gallons of water for treating 800 to 1000 square feet of weed-laden grass.

BEST ANSWER: 1.5 oz of Remedy to a gallon of water would be ideal as a spot treatment application.
Alligare 2 4-D herbicide can be used in pastures, forests, lawns, industrial sites, and aquatic sites. Mix 1-2 ounces of 2 4-D Amine per gallon of water.
Amine 400 is specifically formulated for use in warmer environments (above 60 ºF). For cooler environments (below 60 ºF), opt for LV 400 to get the job done.
2,4-D is safe for most types of grass as long as it is used properly. If you apply too much, however, it may kill areas of grass. If you see dead or “scorched” grass in areas where you`ve sprayed 2,4-D, you probably used too much. It is also possible that you did not mix in enough water when preparing the herbicide.
Application rates should be 1 to 5 gallons of total spray by air or 5 to 25 gallons by ground equipment unless otherwise directed. In either case, use the same amount of 2,4-D recommended per acre. For crop uses, do not mix with oil, surfactants, or other adjuvants unless specifically recommended.
The key difference between 2 4-D amine and ester is that 2 4-D amine has a low vapor pressure compared to 2 4-D esters. 2,4-D amine and ester are both formulations of one of the oldest and most widely used herbicide categories.
You want to mix approx. 4 oz Hi-Yield 2, 4-D Selective Weed Killer per gallon of water over 1000 sq feet. Please be sure to consult the product label before application.
Mixing Directions: For best results use 2 ½ fl. oz. (5 Tbs) per gallon of water. One gallon of water will treat approximately 300 sq ft.
RATE: 10mL per litre of water.

Apply when weeds are actively growing. Apply to ensure complete and uniform wetting of foliage. Visible symptoms may take from 3 to 7 days to develop.

Apply Remedy® Ultra herbicide in broadcast applications at rates of 1 pint to 4 quarts per acre in a total spray volume of 5 or more gallons per acre by air or 10 to 20 gallons per acre by ground. Treat when weeds are actively growing and not stressed by drought or other conditions.
You should use 1 teaspoons of surfactant per gallon of diluted herbicide, or 1-2 pints per 100 gallons of spray.
Based on available information, MDH developed a guidance value of 30 ppb for 2,4-D in drinking water. A person drinking water at or below the guidance value would have little or no risk of health effects.
A gallon of 2,4-D will treat up between 2 to 4 acres of land depending on the rate being used. 2,4-D Amine Selective Herbicide Weed Killer will produce results within 1 to 2 weeks. The type of vegetation will determine the amount of time it takes to completely eliminate unwanted vegetation.
Answer: mix 2.2 tablespoons of pesticide per gallon of water (for 3 gallon sprayer mix 6.6 tablespoons or approximately ¾ cup/3 gallon tank (see table 1).
Since members of the grass family are more resistant to 2,4-D than are broad-leaved plants, the chemical is being widely used as a selective spray in grain fields. 2,4-D per acre, applied in 100 to 200 gallons of water, with a ground rig.
