A: The spark plug gap on all products is . 025-inch.
The critical distance between the spark plug`s electrode and the ground strap (that piece of steel that curves out over the end of the plug) is called the “plug gap.” The act of setting this distance correctly is commonly referred to as “gapping” your plugs.
Pull the spool out and unravel the old wire, but note how the wire was attached to the spool. Cut off 20–25 feet (6.1–7.6 m) of replacement string and attach it to the spool the same way the old string was attached. Reinstall the spool and put the cap back on to finish restringing your weed whacker.
The gap between the spark plug`s center electrode and outer electrode should be set at 0.02 inch, or 0.5 millimeter, for most Husqvarna trimmer models. On some newer models, the company recommends a slightly larger gap of 0.024 inch, or 0.6 millimeter.

You can find this parameter in the user and maintenance manual for your garden tool: for Efco machines, the standard spark plug electrode gap is 0.5 mm for chainsaws, brushcutters and blowers, and 0.7–0.8 mm for tools such as lawnmowers.

How do i install the blades on my weed eater so i dont have to use string anymore
There are many options out there but pretty much all of them require you to completly remove the line trimming head and screw on an aftermarket device. I use the bruch hog, the line trimmer and one with three nylon blades that are replacable (from Menards) and all work well but you do have to replace the blade too so it will not be the end all. If you are going through a lot of line may I suggest you run the trimmer at about 1/4 speed or just enough to do the job, it really saves a lot of line and frustration.
Weed eater will not run in high speed but will idle
Lack of fuel is my first thought. Check to be sure the trigger control is working at the carb. From there I would suspect plugged fuel line or plugged carb, (most likely contaminated fuel) either way I would suggest someone that knows about these. Hope this helps
Poulan pro 25cc will start but not continue to run.
Is it difficult to pull? If so it could be the exhaust flame arrester has fouled with carbon. Over time it will become completely clogged and will not allow the engine to come up to speed or even start. Remove the exhaust and you will find the screen on the inlet side of the exhaust.

Try diss connecting the earth cut out wire from the ignition unit and try for a spark again, this will rule out the switch and any trapped wires, re set the air gap between the unit and the flywheel to 0.3mm, if there is still no spark the unit is bad and will require replacment, they are normally only held on with a couple of allen screws, and either bolted to the cylinder or the crankcase.
