Chainsaw 42mm Piston Rings 025 O25 Chain Saw

Experienced gardeners share their insights in answering this question :
You pry out one of the wrist pin circlips with a small pick tool, being careful not to let it fly away. Then, you use a 1/4 ratchet extension to hammer it out using a ball-peen hammer. You’ll want to support the other side of the piston, so with your hammering, you don’t damage the piston or the connecting rod, or the bearings, and it’s a handy place for the wrist pin to fall into. I suggest a deep-well 1/2″ socket.

How to Identify and Fix Common Gardening Problems ?

We provide a variety of viewpoints on how to identify and fix common gardening problems. Our sources include academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays from experienced gardeners :

The top two rings— known as compression rings— are primarily for sealing the combustion chamber. The bottom ring— known as the oil control ring— is primarily for controlling the supply of oil to the cylinder wall, in order to lubricate the piston skirt and the oil control rings.
Many engines have the cylinder offset from the crank axis. This swaps the piston thrust face quietly and without damaging it. If the engine is run backwards the change of thrust face will be noisy and eventually the piston skirt will crack and fall off.
It will run badly because the cut out in the piston skirt allows the crankcase to be opened to the exhaust at the top of the stroke. This kills your crankcase compression which is what helps fill the cylinder. Also, it`s probably going to hurt your compression since it was broke in the other way around.
The general rule is that bevels go down and dots/top marks go up. Note, that the word “TOP” does not mean that this is a top ring! But rather, that side of the ring should face the top of the engine.
If it`s a two stroke gasoline engine, you can just start it backwards. Occasionally, two-strokes will start incorectly and run backwards on their own.

ANSWER : The vent is not working properly or was installed incorrectly, so there is no negative air entering the tank to take up the space of the fuel leaving it for the combustion chamber. Perhaps your tank cap has a vent as well that isn’t working.
