The tractor three point lift control lever is located to the side of the operator seat, adjust the height of the hitch up or down.
Three-point hitches are composed of three movable arms. The two lower arms—the hitch lifting arms—are controlled by the hydraulic system, and provide lifting, lowering, and even tilting to the arms. The upper center arm—called the top link—is movable, but is usually not powered by the tractor`s hydraulic system.
Basically, having the top link at an angle to the lift arms, closer at the front and farther apart at the rear (when viewed from the side) makes an implement change angle as it raises, the back will come up quicker than the front.
The tractor`s stub shaft, often called the PTO, transfers power from the tractor to the PTO-driven machine or implement. Power transfer is accomplished by connecting a drive shaft from the machinery to the tractor`s PTO stub shaft.
Regardless of the size of the tractor, most tasks are using implements or attachments that require a 3-point hitch.
Three point linkage (or three-point-hitch) is a standardised system to attach implements to tractors. They comprise of three movable arms assembled in a triangle or `A` formation, and are controlled by the hydraulic system allowing lifting, lowering and tilting.
The three-point linkage is a widely used type of hitch for attaching ploughs and other implements to an agricultural or industrial tractor. The three points resemble either a triangle, or the letter A. Three-point attachment is the simplest and the only statically determinate way of joining two bodies in engineering.
Reinforced Structure: The heavy-duty reinforced 3-point quick hitch is structurally stable and has 3000 lbs lifting capacity.
A Third Function Valve is a hydraulic control valve that`s installed on your machine in order to add an additional hydraulic function. It`s often called a Third Function as it`s used to control an additional third hydraulic cylinder, the first two cylinders being on a front-end loader (Tilt/Curl).
