How to Identify and Fix Common Gardening Problems ?

The top belt is the power clutch belt, also known as the PTO (power takeoff) belt. This is the easier one to replace because it`s on top and has a spring-loaded hand lever to remove the belt from the lawn mower for deck removal. The lower belt on the deck is called the arbor belt.
The solution – a holeless belt lets the wearer adjust 1/4″ at a time. The holeless belt accomplishes this by eliminating belt holes and replacing them with a nylon track (with teeth like notches) sewn into the back of the leather belt, hidden from sight (see photos below).

A perfectly tight mower belt can rotate without slipping off but not cause the engine to over-exert and overheat. If the belt does not slip off while working and is not producing unfavorable sounds that indicate wearing off of the belt, then that is the perfect tightness for it.

What is the diagram for traction belt routing
ANSWER : Go to this website, upper right hand corner and do a parts look up.
Search for your model and that good stuff they ask of you and then
choose mower housing should be there, browse the site it’s really cool

sample search for generic riding mower deck and found great diagram of
belt routing. Give it a try you will find same results Good Luck! Don’t forget the thumbs!

Cub Cadet 1525 belt diagram
ANSWER : Attached is the blade diagram for correct placement of the deck belt. There is some bleed through from the back page, but you can see the direction of the belt. I have a 1525 mower for the last 11 years, still running and going. Hope this helps!
