It’s a Dynamark Model# F3912030 Serial# S003545334714 Code 5065 with a 12hp and 39cut. We don’t have the mower deck and all the parts for the brake hookup seem to be missing. Need a picture of how to hook it all back up and what the parts look like, maybe a break down picture or manual for that model mower.

Honda`s Roto-Stop Blade Stop System allows you to stop the blades while the engine keeps running. With traditional zone start mowers, when you let go of the handlebar, the engine shuts off.
#8 Tractor style ride-ons
Due to the fact that the engine weight is in front, when going down a slope the centre of gravity changes. You then lose the ability to brake and slow down because almost all tractor style ride-on mowers have only rear brakes.
It`s easy for a scrap of wood or some obstruction to prevent the blade guard from falling back in place after a cut. Without an electric brake, a blade can continue spinning for 10 seconds or more on some saws. An electric brake stops the blade in about 2 seconds.
Press down on the pedal until you hear it click to engage it. Pull the lever above the foot pedal to release the brake.
The brake lever is connected to the brake pedal with a push rod. By pushing this lever towards the dashboard, the brake pedal will be operated. The accelerator lever is positioned behind the steering wheel and connected to the accelerator pedal by a gas cable.
Motor brakes generally use friction between mating surfaces to stop or hold a load. The same brake can be used for both of these functions, but if stopping time is important, the brake must have sufficient torque to stop within the allotted time. Actuation is either through electrical, mechanical, or pneumatic methods.
A key difference between a tractor and a ride-on mower is the position of the cutting blades, which on garden tractors are located at the centre of the machine. This makes them very effective for cutting large gardens or areas of open land and around wider objects like trees and bushes.
Another braking behavior that causes excessive heat and premature wear is riding your brakes. That is where you keep one foot on the brake pedal at all times, just enough to turn your brake lights on, making you look suspiciously like “that guy”.
Cutting brakes are a system of levers, switches, or pedals that allow you to lock up individual brakes in order to stop one wheel and then use the other wheels to drive the vehicle, thus pivoting around that locked wheel.
An electric brake is commonly used in corded tools such as circular saws, miter saws, routers, bandsaws, angle grinders, and more recently, table saws. These mechanisms are designed to prevent injuries resulting from things like kickback or skin-to-blade contact.
Over time, dirt, sand, and other debris can erode the blade, causing the metal to weaken and become paper-thin. If you see this, you should replace the blade immediately since it can break while mowing and possibly injure someone.
