Locate the oil adjuster screw on the bottom of the chainsaw. Turning this screw will adjust the oil feed rate. Turn the screw clockwise to increase the oil feed. Turn the screw counterclockwise to decrease the oil feed.
Adjusting the L screw clockwise can cause the chain to engage while the saw is idling. Adjusting the H screw clockwise increases the maximum speed of the engine and can cause damage to your saw`s engine if its operating capacity is exceeded.

ANSWER : There is a special puller too that STIHL dealers posess, you cannot get one, sorry, you have to pay to remove it. The good news is, there is a chinese company on eBay that sells the pumps for $6 shipped from china versus the $33 you’d pay from STIHL for the same chinese-made part.

ANSWER : Look for an oil volume adjustment screw located near the lower chain run, but on the main case rear or maybe underneath the case in the same area. Turn the screw CW to decrease flow. Remove the bar and chain to make sure the small oil passages in the drive end of the bar are not plugged. When everything is back together, run the saw tip near some cardboard at speed for a moment or two. It should throw off a thin line of oil onto the board. Hope this helps!
