I need to know where all of the fuel lines go. I thought I remembered correctly but I don’t think so. Some please just tell me the routing start with the line that has the filter in the tank and end with the larger line in the tank. Explain where each line connects or provide a drawing or diagram.

The (clear) fuel intake line runs from the top of the carburetor (straight nipple) and goes to the short post on the back of the primer bulb. The return line (blue) comes from the long post on the back of the primer bulb and goes into the bottom of the fuel tank.
Product Details. Help protect your 2-Cycle gas outdoor power equipment with the Homelite 2-Cycle oil. This oil is a 50:1 gas-to-oil ratio. Use the whole bottle for up to 6 gallons of gas, or squeeze the bottle and let the top fill to a desired level.
A typical fuel system

A single fuel pipe runs from the tank, under the floor of the car to a mechanical pump on the engine. The pump delivers fuel to the carburettor. Whenever you check fuel pipes, disconnect the battery to prevent stray sparks igniting petrol or petrol vapour.

Most vehicles have rubber fuel hoses connecting the fuel pipes on the chassis to the fuel pump or carburetor on the engine. Rubber hoses are flexible and can be cut to length as required, but they have a tendency to perish over time and can rub through if not properly secured.
John Deere acquired the brand in 1994. Techtronic Industries acquired Homelite from John Deere in 2001. Homelite has shifted its production primarily to consumer level lawn and garden equipment and light duty chainsaws.
The fuel and oil mixture should always be 2% (50:1).
Use a 32:1 gasoline to oil ratio. One gallon of gasoline combined with 4 oz of two-cycle engine oil. If you are in the state of California, use a 2-cycle oil mix ratio of 40:1.
The theoretical air–fuel ratio mixture for a gasoline fueled engine, for complete gasoline fuel combustion, the stoichiometric air–fuel ratio is about 14.7:1. In order to completely burn 1 kg of gasoline fuel, the combustion process needs 14.7 kg of air.
One is the high pressure line, which sends fuel to the injectors. The other is the return line, which dumps fuel that the injectors don`t use back into the tank.
The return line should direct fuel close to the bottom of the tank and away from the pickup.

Many of today`s chainsaws will come with felling marks. Similar to the sight on a gun, these lines will help the operator align the cut with the direction the tree will be felled.

Replaceing fuel line in polan 3300 chain saw – Poulan Pro 42CC 2 Cycle Chainsaw, 18"
ANSWER : Hi owjbhend…
Use a piece of wire and insert it into the fuel line, then bend a hook in the end and hook it over the end of the fuel line…lubricate the fuel line with some vaseoline very lightly…about the first one inch of the fuel line and then use your fingers to start the fuel line into the tank, once you have the fuel line in the tank give enough to hook the fuel filter to and so it can be dropped back into the tank.

Homelite d3350b what is fuel oil mix i was told i could use 50 to 1 because the new oils are better?????
ANSWER : Buy a good quality oil and mix it to the OIL manufacturers recommendation regardless of what the chainsaw manual says. If you are poking around the barn and find an old can of Homelite 2 cycle oil that says mix 25:1 mix it at that ratio.
All modern oils, chainsaws, and the EPA recommend 50:1. There has been great improvement in 2 cycle technology over the years. To rich a mix causes carbon build up on the piston that breaks loose and scores the piston and cylinder, and it stinks!

My Homelite Mighty Lite has developed perished fuel lines. (12 months after purchase!!!!!!) Is it possible to obtain spare fuel line…. preferably attached to a new fuel tank as well. It looks like a really hard task to change only the lines.

Many thanks.

ANSWER : The fuel lines can be purchased separately usually by the foot from any outdoor power equipment dealer. They can be easily installed by cutting one end at an angle and “feeding” it through holes. Homelite fuel lines are of a different OD than most so make sure you get the proper size. The most popular size for Homelite is OD .203 ID .04.

Primer bulb sticks. i ckd behind the bulb and the line was not kinked. what next?
ANSWER : The bulb pulls fuel from the carb, if there is no fuel in the carb due to a blockage in the fuel filter or carb itself the bulb will just stay in, try just removing the filter in the tank to see if this rectifies the problem, if not there may well be a blockage in the carb itself.
