Product Details. Help protect your 2-Cycle gas outdoor power equipment with the Homelite 2-Cycle oil. This oil is a 50:1 gas-to-oil ratio. Use the whole bottle for up to 6 gallons of gas, or squeeze the bottle and let the top fill to a desired level.
Oil mix ratios explained

If your manufacturer recommends a 50:1 fuel/oil mix, it means you need 50 parts of gas to one part two-stroke oil. To mix one gallon of fuel at 50:1, add 2.6 ounces of two-stroke oil to one gallon of gas, as shown in the chart below.

Usually, a two-cycle engine uses a 50:1 or 40:1 2 stroke oil to gas ratio.
Most modern petrol garden machinery requires a 50:1 ratio mix of petrol to oil. This means for every 1 litre of petrol you must mix 20ml of oil.
1:25 = 1 part oil + 25 parts petrol, or 40 ml oil per litre of petrol when using other brands of oil. Any two-stroke engine oil you use in your petrol gardening tool must have the TC classification.
Two-stroke (or 2-cycle) engines require a mixture of fuel and oil be added to the fuel tank. This mixture results in both engine combustion and lubrication. Operating a 2-Stroke engine on gasoline alone will result in engine failure.
Most STIHL gasoline-powered equipment runs on a 50:1 mixture of gasoline and 2-cycle engine oil.
Most STIHL gasoline-powered equipment runs on a 50:1 mixture of gasoline and 2-cycle engine oil.
Two-cycle engines, like those in leaf blowers, require a gas and oil mix — the oil is a special type designed to mix with gas, and not motor oil. The oil bottles will generally be for mixing with either a gallon of gas or 2½ gallons of gas, depending on the volume of the oil.

Why does my Poulan Pro PPBP30/30cc backpack blower have no power?
ANSWER : It may be fuel starved from either blockage in the carb or a broken intake fuel line. You can dump the fuel and mix up a back of fresh fuel with some system cleaner added and run it through and see if the unit picks up a bit. If a system cleaning doesnt improve performance with the gas tank empty look inside the tank and see if the fuel line is broken off or split. Many times fuel lines just get broken from alcohol fuels and age.
