To prevent a costly mistake, always mix the specified 50:1 gasoline-to-oil ratio for the Ryobi SS30 lawn trimmer. This will make for a smooth day working in the yard.
Using the Correct Fuel Mixture
Use automotive unleaded petrol and synthetic 2-stroke oil only. Mix the fuel at a ratio of 1 part 2-stroke oil to 50 parts petrol, in a clean container approved for petrol.
RYOBI Blower Vacuums run off a 50:1 ratio – this means 50 parts unleaded fuel to 1 part 2-stroke oil.
A 100ml bottle is suitable for mixing with 5 litres of fuel to achieve a 50:1 fuel-oil ratio.
If you`re using a different brand of 2-Stroke oil, you`ll need to mix at 25:1 (40mls oil per 1 litre fuel). Petrol has limited shelf life (as low as 30 days), so always mix with fresh regular unleaded purchased from a reputable large volume fuel supplier.
That first number is the amount of fuel, the second part the two stroke oil. Most power tools work on a ratio of 25/1, so that means you need to mix 25 parts fuel to 1 part two stroke oil. Once done so you then pour that mix into the fuel tank of the unit.
Use a 32:1 gasoline to oil ratio. One gallon of gasoline combined with 4 oz of two-cycle engine oil.
The recommended ratio of fuel mix is 1 part oil to 50 parts petrol. For example, if you are using 5L of petrol, you will need 0.1L (100ml) of 2 Stroke Oil. To mix the fuel, pour the 2 Stroke engine oil into a mixing can that is approved for use with fuel, then add the petrol.
Fuelmix ratio: 25:1.
1:25 = 1 part oil + 25 parts petrol, or 40 ml oil per litre of petrol when using other brands of oil. Any two-stroke engine oil you use in your petrol gardening tool must have the TC classification.
Mixing ratios
For a mixing ratio of 1 : 50 you need 5 litres of petrol and 0.10 litres (100cm³) of STIHL two-stroke oil.
