1:25 = 1 part oil + 25 parts petrol, or 40 ml oil per litre of petrol when using other brands of oil. Any two-stroke engine oil you use in your petrol gardening tool must have the TC classification.
If you`re using a different brand of 2-Stroke oil, you`ll need to mix at 25:1 (40mls oil per 1 litre fuel). Petrol has limited shelf life (as low as 30 days), so always mix with fresh regular unleaded purchased from a reputable large volume fuel supplier.

Running a 2-cycle with the wrong fuel to oil mixture can cause severe damage to your engine. Running the machine without any oil mixed in the fuel can cause severe damage to your equipment within just minutes. This damage is generally very costly to repair and is usually irreparable.
Common gasoline and oil mix ratios are 50:1 and 40:1. Meaning there is 50/40 parts gasoline to one part oil when mixed. The lower the mix ratio number the more oil per volume in the gasoline. To mix properly add oil to your gas can, then add fresh gasoline from the pump.

This equals 25mls of two stroke oil to 1 litre of petrol. It is pretty easy to calculate, you just multiply the litre amount by 25.
You should look for a blower with 450-500 CFM and 150-190 MPH ratings.
An air blower uses a rotating impeller/rotor to create a vacuum. This vacuum causes air to rush into the blower. The air enters the centre of the impeller and is divided by the rotating blades. Centrifugal force increases the speed of the air and volume of the air stream within the housing.

Damp, Wet Or Soaked Through
There is a difference. If the leaves are damp then it shouldn`t be a problem, a little wet with a powerful jet will still work well but if leaves are soaked then best to leave well alone until they have had time to dry a little.
Unlike leaf blowers that simply push piles of leaves (and leave you battling the wind), the leaf vacuum sucks up the debris into a collector bag that can then be unloaded anywhere you like. And a leaf vacuum can also mulch the debris you collect which makes composting much easier.
The tip of the leaf blower should always be pointing down. This way air is concentrated into a smaller area, providing you with more blowing control and precision. A shallow angle moves the leaves forward instead of up. Keeping the blower close to the ground also prevents dust from being blown upwards.
