Assuming the plug and plug are okay, the breaker points and condenser. If they are okay and the points are opening and closing as they should then the coil may have failed. See wiring diagram below.

If the ignition coil does not have spark, it`s time to check its wires. Use a test light to check the continuity on the signal wire and power wire on the ignition coil. If both wires are functional but the coil fails to produce spark, the ignition coil or the ignition control module is bad.
With a poor ground the starter ring return path may not allow adequate amps to return to allow a starter to reach the torque and speed to start. Normally, however, with a well tuned car and cranking, the engine will fire right up. Weakness, though, and it may not start.
If no spark appears, check for broken wires, shorts, grounds or a defective stop switch. Once you have confirmed that the stop switch is working, reconnect the spark plug lead.
If the ignition relay shorts, burns out, or otherwise fails while the engine is operating it will cut off power to the fuel pump and ignition system. This will cause the vehicle to immediately stall due to fuel and spark being cut off.
If you do not see a spark, there is an ignition problem. Remove a plug wire and insert an old spark plug or a spark plug tester into the end of the wire (the plug boot). Place the spark plug on a metal surface on the engine, or ground the spark plug tester to the engine. Then crank the engine to check for a spark.
When couples say they no longer feel a “spark,” it may mean that they`re missing the initial feeling of infatuation or that long-term commitment has become challenging. Meeting your partner and falling in love may have felt exciting, new, and intense. You might have felt that it was the only factor in your life.
What causes those sparks aside from the standard arc between the plug and the outlet as they get close. Short circuiting. Sometimes, if the live wire from an outlet is touching the neutral or ground wire, it can cause a short circuit. This can cause significant heat as more power is drawn.
If your engine is not sparking, it may be due to a problem with the CDI box. However, other potential causes of no spark include issues with the ignition coil, spark plug, or wiring.
The Capacitor. Capacitors, which are short-term storage devices, often fail in older magnetos due to dielectric degradation (short circuit) or conductor breakage (open circuit). A short circuit absorbs all the power, hence no output or spark.
Hard Starts and Stalling
If an ignition coil is malfunctioning and not delivering the required voltage to the spark plugs, you will find it hard to start the engine. If your vehicle stalls when you stop and even shut off completely, it could be a bad ignition coil sending irregular sparks to the spark plugs.
If you suspect the coil is dead, you can also remove the coil, plug it back in, and use an ignition spark tester like OEM 25069 to determine if the coil is firing. You can also use a multimeter to test resistance.

The fluid has to go somewhere is it leaking into a conjoining piece like the transmission…?
No spark at points – Ford 8n,9n,2n, Tractor Starter With Drive
Sounds to me, if no spark to points I would suspect the coil.
No spark for 2n tractor put on a new 12 coil changed points and condersor was runing before i burned out 6 v coil
Check the resistor mounted on the back side of the dash, resistor dead no spark. you can strap it with wire to see if it fires, dont run it this way.
What is the spark plug gap for a ryobi string trimmer model # ry30550 ?
I can’t say for sure, but it’s PROBABLY about 0.035″.
My Honda 2600 psi power washer will not pull to start. It was running great then I allowed the neighbor to borrow it. He ran the washer till it was out of gas and proceeded to refuel and at this point it would no longer start. The pull cord is out about 4-6 inches out and I am concerned about taking the casing off myself.
Fearing that it may throw more off on the unit. If i take the casing off are there any spring loaded parts that will dismount?
What should I do? Spark Plug? Turn wrenches?
Please let me know
You should be fine to take the recoil off, there shouldn’t be anything that shoots out at you. You might want to check the oil level on the engine, many of the Honda engines won’t start unless there is enough oil in them. If your oil level is fine, check to make sure that your motor is getting spark.
I’m rebuilding a ford 2N Governor. I see that the Drive shaft and ball fin or divider are separate. Should the divider be a tight fit on shaft to rotate the four balls during operation?
Yes. The balls move outward by centrifugal force. The faster the governor shaft rotates the farther out the balls move until it actuates to limit the fuel flow.If really helpful, please rate.
Not getting spark all the time after putting new
Clean the points with an emery board if this doesn’t fix it roll the motor until the points are open then short them with a screwdriver if it arcs see if the coil is putting out spark if not get a new coil
