The air filter may be clogged. If the air filter is clogged, the engine will get too much fuel and not enough air. As a result, the engine may stall. If the air filter is clogged, replace it.

Fuel line positions ?
ANSWER : The longest fuel line, which has the filter attached to it, goes to the brass fitting furthest from the primer bulb. The short fuel line goes directly under the primer bulb. Which hole to put it in doesn’t matter if the lines are the same size. Just choose the shortest path for each. The fuel is going into the arb but when i try to start it nothing happens. I can start with starting fluid but then it quits out.
ANSWER : I would check or replace the fuel filter and also check your Air filter too. the fuel filter should be at the end of the fuel line in the tank. If that wont work try cleaning the carb
