How to Identify and Fix Common Gardening Problems ?

We provide a variety of viewpoints on how to identify and fix common gardening problems. Our sources include academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays from experienced gardeners :

Your zero turn mower is weak on one side because of one or more of many reasons: traction adjustment being wrong, dragging drum brake, bad dampers, incorrect balance, tire compression does not match, or there is air trapped in the hydrostatic motor.
Most self propelled mowers utilize a solid shaft drive transfer system that turns the drive axle to both wheels simultaneously. If the drive loss is only in one wheel, the problem is likely a trapped, broken, or missing part within the drive ratchet or gear system of the non-functioning wheel.
Zero-turn mowers look a lot different than traditional riding mowers. You control the steering with levers on each side, rather than a steering wheel. While zero-turn mowers may look challenging to drive, they`re really very easy.
In order for the Onewheel to orient itself, it needs to be placed on the ground in the riding position when it is turned on. If it is not on the ground in the riding position and it is turned on (oftentimes folks will turn it on while they`re holding it vertically), it will give you an error 4 and will not activate.
What is wrong with my car? I`m turning the steering wheel, but only one wheel moves, while the other one seems locked. Most likely a broken tie rod. That`s the part that connects your wheel to the steering mechanism.
A low level of power steering fluid is the number one cause of a steering wheel being hard to turn. While refilling the power steering reservoir with fluid will temporarily fix the problem, the root cause of the disappearing power steering fluid will need to be found.
Loose, Dirty or Disconnected Spark Plug in Your Lawn Mower: Check it out, clean off debris, re-connect and tighten. Dirty Air Filter: Clean or replace. Fuel Not Reaching the Engine: Tap the side of the carburetor to help the flow of gas. If this doesn`t work, you might need a new fuel filter.
The reasons why mower is not moving forward or reverse is that the battery is dead, or due to clogged fuel line. Additionally, malfunctioning transmission, or a broken drive belt, also a faulty spark plug, even when friction wheel isn`t in contact with the friction plate, or damaged Tires.

How is the stearing adjusted?
ANSWER : There is no adjustment on these mowers. One or both front wheels have been bent backwards by bumping into things. They have to be bent back to the right place again. This isnt easy. When both wheels are pointing forward they should point inwards very slightly.(toein) The steering wheel is centred by pulling the plastic centre off undoing the 1/2″ bolt ,pull off the wheel and put it back on where you want. And make sure all the tyres have 12 psi. Cheers
