How to Identify and Fix Common Gardening Problems ?

We provide a variety of viewpoints on how to identify and fix common gardening problems. Our sources include academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays from experienced gardeners :

White smoke usually means coolant is getting into the combustion chambers of your vehicle. This generally happens because of a cracked or leaking head gasket, which allows coolant to seep into your cylinders.
White Smoke

It usually means that coolant is being burned in the engine, which means that something is drastically wrong. The most common cause of this is a blown head gasket, which can quickly lead to an overheating engine.

Blue or white smoke coming from your engine usually indicates burning oil, which can be caused by: Overfilling the crankcase with oil. Incorrect oil grades. Operating engine at greater than a 15 degree angle. Inoperative crankcase breather.
White or blue smoke may indicate an oil spill on the engine.

The smoke may look disconcerting, but it`s completely harmless. Solve the problem by restarting the mower and allowing the spilled oil to burn off.

The white smoke is a mixture of potassium chlorate, lactose and a pine resin, also known as Greek pitch.
Light or thin white exhaust smoke is typically water vapor. You`ll notice it the first time you start your car, especially if it`s a cold day. This happens because condensation naturally collects in the exhaust system. Light or thin white exhaust smoke is common in vehicles.
In general, a hotter fire will convert more fuel into elemental carbon, which forms into tiny particles that absorb light and appear in the sky as black smoke. A cooler combustion—or one that doesn`t work as efficiently—yields less-pure forms of carbon. These tend to reflect light, making the smoke look white.
What is whitesmoke? Whitesmoke is a slightly gray shade of off white. The whitesmoke hex code is #F5F5F5.
White smoke from the exhaust can spell big problems with your engine, and the smoke`s white color tells us that it`s water vapor (blue = burning oil, gray or black = fuel). Specifically, coolant is escaping from the cooling system into the combustion chamber.
The symptoms of too much car oil

If it is overfilled, the following may occur: Dense white smoke – If you drive your car and see plenty of thick, white exhaust smoke, excess oil may be burning within the engine block, although fluids such as antifreeze may also be the culprit.

To be extra clear, before someone starts arguing with us, white smoke will make your food taste smoky, but in a bad way. This is because this white smoke is a sign that your charcoals aren`t ready to cook with. While this white smoke is billowing, you`ll likely be at low temperatures and getting ash all over your food.

Billows of white smoke when Toro lawn mower runs
ANSWER : You overfilled the oil. If the mower runs, just go ahead and mow grass until it runs the oil out of the gas tank. Or you can empty the gas tank and fill with new gas. White smoke is not a serious problem. Only a hassle.
