Experienced gardeners share their insights in answering this question :
Assuming your leaf blower air filter is clean. All 2 stroke engines have a sintered plastic fuel filter. Sintered filters may cause stalling or they might make the engine quit and not restart. Either way that is the cheapest and easiest fix.
How to Identify and Fix Common Gardening Problems ?
We provide a variety of viewpoints on how to identify and fix common gardening problems. Our sources include academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays from experienced gardeners :
The fuel filter might be clogged. A clogged fuel filter is most commonly caused by leaving old fuel in the leaf blower. Over time, some of the ingredients in the fuel may evaporate, leaving behind a thicker, stickier substance. This sticky fuel can clog the fuel filter and cause the engine to stall.
If your carburetor is clogged, it can cause your leaf blower`s engine to die when the choke is disengaged. You can disassemble it, clean it, and replace individual parts with a carb kit. Once your carburetor has been unclogged, cleaned, and re-assembled using the carb kit, the engine should run with the choke off.
The gas engine on your leaf blower needs to operate at a specific temperature: hot enough to burn the fuel and give the engine power but cool enough not to overheat the piston. An overheating problem in the leaf blower is generally caused by a failure to vent gases or the fuel burning too hot inside the cylinder.
For starters, the best backpack leaf blowers run for a long time: 30 to 60 minutes for battery-powered models and even longer for gas models, provided you refuel them. Most battery-powered handhelds run for just 12 to 15 minutes.
The most likely culprit is a dirty or clogged air filter. Issues with your fuel pump or fuel filter can also cause your engine to idle then die with any throttle. If you have an older car, it could also be a bad carburetor.
Check for a dirty air filter and replace if needed.
A clogged filter limits the amount of cool air that passes over the heat exchanger, causing it to overheat and shut off. At the same time, your blower turns on to help cool it down.
ECHO gas blowers run on a 50:1 ratio of gas and oil mixture. You can do your own mix or purchase premix gas/oil.
Echo premium Power Blend TM Universal 2-Stroke Oil may be mixed at 50:1 ratio for application in all Echo engines sold in the past regardless of ratio specified in those manuals.
It sounds like this may be a sign of a faulty blower motor or bad wiring between the motor and the resistor. As you might know, these have electric motors in them that wear out over time and will begin to make squeaking or grinding noises as the bearings begin to wear out.
A choke valve/cable is designed to restrict the flow of air in the carburettor of an engine. This helps enrich the fuel-air mixture, improving the ability to start an engine in low temperature conditions.
Poor Wi-Fi Signal This is one of the most common reasons that your Echo has to keep buffering your music, or it stops altogether. A poor Wi-Fi signal makes it hard for your Echo to connect to the internet where it`s retrieving your music. Checking on your Wi-Fi strength varies depending on which Echo you have.
Gasoline -Use 89 Octane [R+M/2] (mid grade or higher) gasoline known to be good quality.

My blower only runs with 3/4 choke even after warm up.
ANSWER : Look on the carb for 2 screws side by side. where those screws go into the carb, it will be stamped with an “H” and “L”. Open the screw that is next to the “H”, counterclockwise about 1/4 turn at a time with the engine running, that should solve it.
