If the drive loss is only in one wheel, the problem is likely a trapped, broken, or missing part within the drive ratchet or gear system of the non-functioning wheel. For ratchet drive models, remove the hubcap to both drive wheels and compare the drive mechanisms.

Honda lawn mowers are easy to use, cost-effective, reliable, adaptable, and have earned a good reputation. Whether you are mowing the commercial lawn or residential lawn, these mowers are a good choice. The twin-blade cutting system of the Honda mower is helpful to create smaller clippings than other mowers.
The division`s products, including engines, generators, lawn mowers, pumps, snow blowers, tillers, trimmers, and marine engines, are assembled in Honda plants in the United States and around the world.
Details that make a difference

Honda lawn mowers are designed for superior bagging. Our twin blades create smaller clippings, so bags hold 30% more clippings than a single blade mower. Decks are designed to reduce the distance that grass has to travel to the bag.

In keeping with Honda`s tradition of technological and environmental leadership, all Honda lawnmower models feature Honda`s easy-starting engines that deliver smooth, quiet, reliable four-stroke power.
The flywheel fins also blow air across the air vane on the engine governor, keeping it running steadily and consistently at your desired speed. The modern flywheel now acts as the heart of your portable generator, snow blower, or lawn mower electrical system with magnets mounted around it that make ignition possible.
Honda uses 4-stroke engines for all of its power products because they offer cleaner exhaust gas emissions, better fuel economy and lower noise levels. Before Honda introduced its models, people thought that only 2-stroke engines could be used for the ultra-compact products used for handheld operation.

Mower won’t start
ANSWER : This may sound stupid but don’t mean it to…
Have you tried with the choke all the way open? Do you have an automatic cruise? Is the right (correct) pedal being pushed in? These will affect if it starts or not. Also if your drive belt or one of the other belts not being tight enough will affect if it starts or just turns over. Not too many things can stope it from starting with new/good battery AND if its getting gas. Try cleaning your gas line and obviously making sure there is no obstruction around or near your blade, if it does start with blade engaged that is :))
If it doesn’t start with blade engaged, well make sure it’s in neutral. Mine won’t start in reverse but will in forward or neutral.

Hope it helps.

I have a Toro personal pace mower.
Model 20017
The propulsion system isn’t working.
If I lift the mower, the wheels will spin, but back on the ground
it won’t propell the mower.
I just put a new cable on, and that seems OK.
Any ideas?
ANSWER : Im assuming you dont here any grinding, start by tightening the cable ( loosen the cable mounting bolt slide the cable towards the engine, make sure you leave some play in the cable so its doesnt engage constantly and re-tighten ) this is most likely your issue however if you re-test and get grinding you either need new drive gears and wheels, new transmission or possibly both, you said it does something just not powerfully this pretty much rules out your belt, highly doubtful its that worn out and if it came off of a pulley it would do literally nothing, however if you tighten it and the drive is almost normal but still weak you do have a worn drive belt

Won’t start, new coil, weak spark,
ANSWER : If i remember correctly these have electronic ignition the module may need replacing but beforedoing any thing drastic try disconecting the oil alert wire that sometimes gives a bit of pain youdoit
