4 Cycle Blower/Vac

I have a leaf blower that will start but when you try to idle it up it dies any help appreciated
Experienced gardeners share their insights in answering this question :

Check the fuel lines, fuel filter and clean the fuel tank.Disassembly the carb and clean it carefully.Diafragm type carb has a fuelpump, pay attention to it ,has to be tighten not folded. When the engine gets warm ,the fuelpump cannot keep the right proportion of fuel and the air/fuel mixture is changing. It has to be changed.

CRAFTSMAN® 208cc 4-Cycle Walk-Behind Gas Leaf Blower is designed to quickly clear leaves and other debris from your yard, driveway, or patio. This blower features a powerful 208 cc CRAFTSMAN® engine, delivering up to 1000 CFM and 150 MPH of air flow to maximize power.
Like other gas-powered tools, handheld gas leaf blowers can be built using two types of engines: 2-cycle engines. 4-cycle engines.
Overview. The CRAFTSMAN® B2200 gas leaf blower offers the convenience and power you desire. The 25cc, 2-cycle gas engine is lightweight and powerful with high performance air volume and air speed up to 430 CFM/200 MPH.
The ECHO PB-580T gas leaf blower features a 58.2cc professional-grade, 2-stroke engine with a tube-mounted throttle.
Craftsman is now owned by Stanley Black+Decker, with many tools available at local hardware stores, as well as at Lowe`s.

Proudly manufacturing select CRAFTSMAN® Riding Mowers and Snow Blowers using global materials.

Four-stroke (four-cycle) engines are newer and have a separate compartment for oil, so you don`t have to worry about mixing fuel. These engines are more fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly, while also giving you more torque when you need it.
What happens if the mixing ratios in a 2 stroke engine are incorrect? If you put too much oil, it can generate additional carbon build-up, making it difficult to start the engine, blow excessive smoke which is particularly bad for the environment and may (with time) cause the engine to stop operating correctly.
This Craftsman 25-cc, gasoline handheld leaf blower is gasoline-powered, weighs 10 lbs., and lacks vacuum capability.
A 2-cycle engine literally has just two cycles that combine the above duties. The first stroke is the combined power and exhaust stroke and the second combines the compression and intake stroke. Both power and combustion happen as the piston reaches the top of its stroke.
The main difference between a 2- and 4-stroke engine is that a 4-stroke engine goes through four stages, or two complete revolutions, to complete one power stroke. A 2-stroke engine goes through 2 stages, or one complete revolution, to complete one power stroke.
Look at the fuel cap. For a two-cycle engine, if it is the original fuel cap it will likely have a fuel and oil mix ratio ( 32:1 , 40:1 etc.) or gas can and oil can symbols on it. Look for stickers labeling the equipment (e.g., “Four Cycle” or “No Fuel Mixing”). Look for an engine oil fill cap.
These tools are US-made, appearing identical to their previous non-industrial US-made counterparts, save for the “Industrial” name stamped on them. They are manufactured by Apex on the US production lines that previously produced the US-made standard Craftsman product before production switched overseas to Asia.

Stanley Black & Decker bought the Craftsman brand from Sears Holdings Corp. in 2017. The deal, valued at $900 million, let both brands continue making and selling products under the Craftsman label.
Back in 2008, when still a Sears brand, Craftsman`s catalog boasted that all of their sockets and wrenches were made in the USA. All Craftsman sockets and wrenches are proudly made in the USA.
From racing motorcycles to passenger cars, 4-stroke oils power the engines of various vehicle types. Unlike 2-stroke engine oils, 4-stroke ones do not burn with the fuel. Instead, they go around the engine. While circulating, the oil lubricates the moving engine parts, disperses heat, and eliminates impurities.
A 4 stroke engine needs to circulate oil throughout to lubricate these moving parts, whereas a 2 stroke engine only needs to lubricate the components internal of the combustion chamber, which is achieved by mixing the correct oil to fuel ratio.
The best fuel for 4 cycle engines is ethanol free. Even though ethanol free fuel does not deteriorate carburetors like gas with ethanol, we strongly recommend, running the engine until the tank is out of gas, so only put into the tank the amount of gas you feel you will use.
Unlike other four-strokes, the 4-MIX engine runs on a standard petrol-oil mix (1:50).
Ready-to-use TruFuel

TruFuel 4-cycle fuel is ethanol-free and formulated with proprietary additive technology to ensure smoother startups and superior trigger response. It`s an advantage you can hear and feel. Your 4-cycle equipment will start and run noticeably better, last longer and need fewer major repairs.

Use a 40:1 two-cycle oil mix ratio. One gallon of gasoline combined with 3.2 oz of two-cycle engine oil. Unsure of the age of your equipment? Use the 40:1 mixture.
Running a 2-cycle with the wrong fuel to oil mixture can cause severe damage to your engine. Running the machine without any oil mixed in the fuel can cause severe damage to your equipment within just minutes. This damage is generally very costly to repair and is usually irreparable.
The right gas to oil ratio will depend on your backpack leaf blower. Usually, a two-cycle engine uses a 50:1 or 40:1 2 stroke oil to gas ratio. But to know the exact measurements of the oil and gas you need to mix, it is best to go and check your owner`s manual.
