Loosten the 2 bar nuts do not remove completly the bar should move fairly freely slip chain back onto groove on bar pull bar to take out slack in chain snug bar nuts slightly there is a flathead screw behind the end of the bar next to motor tighten until chain is snug not too tight tighten bar nuts and your good to go you should be able to turn chain on bar by hand or your too tight
