30 Cubic Centimeter Curved Shaft Gas Trimmer
Sounds simple, but I have a Ryobi strimmer with 2 heads – one with individual plastic cutting strips which are inserted into holes either side of the head. There is an alternative bump type head, supplied with the machine, which I would now prefer to use. However, try as I might, the existing head will not come away from the shaft, There is a central nut which has been removed but the whole assembly is still well attached to the shaft, and there is no visible means of removal. Anybody out there who could kindly let me know the next move?
Many Thanks // AL

It wont start,I replaced the spark plug
ANSWER : Joe try putting some fuel in where the spark plug goes. If it still doesn’t fire then proceed to eliminate things. Firstly the air filter will need cleaning then the spark coil. If it still don’t fire check the switch is ok. Sometimes the switch breaks a circuit and helps with the running of it.

How do you fix a jammed trigger on the Ryobi 10 Amp Electric Power head
ANSWER : Not really a fix but it worked for me. I opened up the case. Their is a little black box with a red button that must be depressed. Pulling up on the trigger pushes the button. Their is what i call a counter press above the trigger. By pressing it, it makes room for the trigger to slide up and press the red button. There isn’t much you can do improve this process. But i took the two springs off the trigger and depressed them trying to shorten them thus reducing the force needed to press. The counter press in spring load. I carefully stretch it by pulling on the end directly above the trigger(not against the frame). This took some pressure off the counter press. I finally took a small file and carefully filed down the edge of the counter press where the trigger presses against. This makes it slide upward easier even if the counter press isn’t pressed down fully when you squeeze it. The trick is pressing the counter press first, but doing these things has made my trigger a lot smoother. It use to be a hard press to activate, but now it is 10 times better than it use to be. Good Luck!!

No spark on plug when activated against cyl head .this tool is brand new and only ran for 5 mins then wouldnt start
ANSWER : If you want to check for a loose wire on the on/off switch or a problem with the spark plug wire contact on the plug, but personally if this tool is new I would return it and get a new tool without having to fix this one. Also I would try another spark plug before considering taking back. Sometimes plugs go bad
