Clippers with Ni-Mh or Ni-Cd batteries will run for about one hour. Newer trimmers, on the other hand, when fully charged, will run between 20 to 40 minutes. To maximize the life of your trimmer battery, about every two months, run the trimmer completely down , and fully recharge overnight.
The quick and easy answer is every 6 months or so. Unlike disposable razors that are made of thin and fragile materials that only withstand a few shaves, the blades of electric razors are much more solid and can last for months.

A 20V battery is sufficient to do the average trimming job on a small- to medium-sized yard, or around 20 to 30 minutes of trimming on the highest setting.
Use the trimmer up to 2 months with one set of batteries.
The 2AH battery provides about 12 minutes of continuous run time (and no Turbo use), the 4 AH about 24 minutes- then recharging the batteries takes close to 1 hour for the 2AH and 2 hours for the 4AH, which limits the use of the blower.

I have a Toro 51598 electric leaf blower. Last year a breaker in the electrical box tripped and the blower naturally stopped. But, the episode seemed to have damaged the variable-air-flow-dial which on the blower – it was either on or off, nothing inbetween worked. This year, after some solid hours of operation, it just stopped working regardless of where where the variable-air-flow-dial was set. It is worth replacing that variable-air-flow-dial and some related components, or is there likely something else wrong with it? The bushings seem fine.
ANSWER : These machines are considered “disposable” items and most service centers won’t even repair them, saying that it is not “cost effective.” I have never come across a parts list for one other than maybe the plastic housing on them (they may exist), but costwise you may be better off getting another tool unless the Toro is still under warranty.

Battery goes dead over night – Toro 42'' Zero Turn Lawn Mower Trailer Package Deal ()
ANSWER : First thing to do is find out if it’s the battery or the mower. Disconnect the battery and leave it overnight. If it’s dead in the morning, you need a new battery. If not, you either have a charging problem (not likely if the battery isn’t dead after using the mower) or you have a current drain.
