G'day, i have a problem with my 727s Oleo-mac. When i start it, it all runs fine for about 5min, but then starts to die. If i then pull the choke over and put it back in the same motion it doesn't cut out. If I apply the throttle it keeps it from dying but just for a few seconds. I've tried cleaning out the carby and the fuel line because it sounds like i'm not getting enough fuel but not really getting anywhere

The most common problem with a string trimmer is that the unit runs out of string. The string may also be twisted or loose on the spool. The cutting head may be dirty or the head outlet guide may be bent. An electric trimmer`s power cord, switch, or motor may fail.
Loose, Dirty or Disconnected Spark Plug in Your Lawn Mower: Check it out, clean off debris, re-connect and tighten. Dirty Air Filter: Clean or replace. Fuel Not Reaching the Engine: Tap the side of the carburetor to help the flow of gas. If this doesn`t work, you might need a new fuel filter.
If your trimmer won`t turn on, especially if it has not been used recently, you may simply have a drained battery. Plug your trimmer into your charger and see if anything happens. Ideally your trimmer will recognize it has been connected to a power source and charge its battery.
The fuel filter might be clogged. A clogged fuel filter is most commonly caused by leaving old fuel in the hedge trimmer. Over time, some of the ingredients in the fuel may evaporate, leaving behind a thicker, stickier substance. This sticky fuel can clog up the fuel filter and prevent the engine from starting.
Cable or Shaft

If the drive cable breaks or becomes detached, the saw blade will no longer spin. You can inspect the drive cable by removing the engine assembly from the shaft and checking to see if the cable is still in place. If the cable has slipped out of place, it will need to be reinstalled firmly.

A worn, dirty, oily, or improperly gapped spark plug can cause a weakThe job of the spark plug is to ignite the air/fuel mixture. A worn, dirty, oily, or improperly gapped spark plug can cause a weak spark, which can misfire or detonate and cause a loss of power.
If the drive shaft is broken, the string trimmer head won`t spin. The drive shaft is not repairable—if the drive shaft is broken, you must replace it. Need help finding your model number? If the threads on the drive shaft are stripped, the trimmer head will not stay on the shaft.
If the drive shaft is broken or detached, the trimmer head will not spin. To inspect the drive shaft, remove the engine assembly from the shaft and look to see if the shaft is in its proper place. Re-install the shaft if it has slipped from its place. If the shaft is damaged or broken, it must be replaced.
Check the following: Clogged muffler, clogged exhaust port, fuel restrictions, low compression, poor ignition spark, too much oil in gas or improper air/fuel mixture in carburetor. . Clean carburetor jets and air filter. Check clutch gear wheel for worn or greasy clutch pads.
If your 2-stroke brushcutter fails to start, the simplest explanation is that there is not enough fuel: in this case you simply need to top it up. A 2-stroke brushcutter engine runs on fuel/oil mixture, which you can buy ready prepared, such as EFCO-Mix Alkilate alkylated mixture in a 5 L can.
What is the difference between a hedge trimmer and a hedge cutter? Usually, hedge trimmers are used for `light work` on branches and bushes. Tidying up and shaping shrubs is another of their functions. However, heavy-duty work is more suited to hedge cutters, for example, breaking down big branches and thicker bushes.
While using your Hedge Trimmer, it`s common for debris and sap to become lodged in the cutting blades. This can cause the blades to bind, making trimming more difficult, and even cause the engine to overheat.
Worn or broken blade drive belt – If the riding mower blades are not spinning, the blade drive belt may be worn or broken and unable to engage the blades. If the belt is intact, inspect it to see if it`s loose or slipping on the pulleys then replace it with a new one if necessary.
Before each use and after every 10 hours of operation, check the fluid levels of your cutters. The best fluid to use is SAE 80W-90 gear oil that is API-GL-5 approved, which can be purchased at most fleet supply stores or online.
If represented by numbers, the fuel consumption of a 4-stroke brush cutter is about half that of a 2-stroke brush cutter, that means if the same amount of gasoline, a 4-stroke brush cutter can run for 2 hours, while a 2-stroke brush cutter can only run for 1 hour.
The disadvantages are that, on the one hand, working efficiency is low, the amount of reed harvested per person per day is 0.3-0.5 t, and harvesting cost is relatively high; on the other hand, reeds cut cannot be laid orderly, which brings inconvenience to subsequent bundling and stacking.
If your STIHL chainsaw is going to have a problem, it`s likely to be with a worn carburetor, bad spark plugs, loose fuel hoses, or clogged fuel lines. You should also inspect the fuel intake system and ensure that there are no compression issues.
But running a two-cycle engine with too little oil can actually destroy the unit. Oil helps cool the piston and cylinder by keeping them evenly lubricated. Without lubrication, the metals can melt and potentially grate against each other, transferring metal to and from one another and permanently distorting them.
This ensures there is enough fuel into the engine to start the engine. Activate the choke and pull the starter cord until the engine ignites. Once the engine has stopped deactivate the choke and pull the starter cord again until the engine starts.
To keep things in simple terms, a grass trimmer is suited to trimming edges, hard to reach lawn areas, and providing finishing touches to lawns. On the other hand, brushcutters are designed to take on dense weeds, fibrous grass and areas of thick vegetation that a grass trimmer would struggle to cut.
Moving the lever up for a closer cut, and down for a longer cut. This is particularly useful for fading and blending as you can be more precise with your cutting lengths. Your clipper kit will usually come with a number of attachment combs. Placing these on the blade will enable you to cut to different lengths.

Something could be blocking the cap, keeping the line from advancing. To inspect and replace, simply remove and clean out the bump cap housing of any debris that may be impacting its operation. If the cap is damaged, replace it. The cap allows you to feed more line when you tap it on the ground.

Just be aware these motors turn on through safety switches and stay on only if they create pressure vacuum on the tube that is attached to them and to a switch. before condeming it I would make double sure that voltage 110 and neutral are making it to the fan. Typically they will try to spin a little and heat up rapidly if bad.
