If oil leaks from your pressure washer pump, one of the seals, gaskets or pistons may be damaged. Disassemble the pump and replace any worn or damaged parts. If that doesn`t help, the oil leak may be due to a loose fitting in the pump assembly. Give the pump a once over and tighten any loose bolts.
Milky Oil IN PRESSURE WASHER PUMP

Milky pump oil is caused by water getting into the crank case. Water can enter the crank case due to: Condensation on the inside of the crank case. Bad oil seals between the crank case and pump head.

Actual O-Ring Dimensions: O-Rings measure 3/8″ Inside Diameter x 0.100″ Thick. These 3/8″ o-rings are designed for 1/4″ Quick Connect fittings found on many pressure washer wands and hoses.
O-ring: A type of valve seal used to block the fluid inside the valve and prevent fugitive emission. O-rings are typically placed inside a groove between two metallic surfaces. O-rings can be used for valve stem seals or between the valve body and seat.
2. Oil Pump Gasket. An external oil pump is sometimes attached to the engine block, with bolts and a gasket, which can wear out and leak. Major damage can be caused if there is insufficient oil in the oil pump, which leads to premature wearing to the pump, and oil starvation to the engine.
If you have an air compressor oil leak, it might be due to holes within the piston chamber. Oil leaks may also be due to excessive oil in the compressor chamber or the oil filter leaking through the head or the air filter.
Pressure washers spray water in a V shape from the end of the wand. Each nozzle that you add to the end of the wand will spray water in a wider or narrower V, depending on what degree angle it is designed to spray at. For example, a 15° angle is a fairly narrow V, while a 40° is significantly wider.
High-durometer o-rings are better suited for higher pressures and are more resistant to extrusion. Hard material yields higher pressure required to force the o-ring into extruding. The only drawback to a high durometer is the decreased squeeze of the o-ring.

Need help in getting Honda engine on NorthStar pressure washer to run.
ANSWER : Could be low water pressure I have found. Also, I purchased a can of “stuff” at Lowes today which allows you to circulate a liquid substance which lubricates the pressure pump….the pump could be frozen up…I have a rotating nozzle which I bought…and it had frozen up…this stuff works

1750 psi Electric Pressure Washer: My pressure washer is losing pressure and is pulsa…
ANSWER : If the pressure washer is pulsating then that is a sign of check valve failure. You may be able to clean of replace the check valves. Replacing the head is the wrong way to go. This is completely unnecessary. If you can tell me the model number of your pressure washer then I can assist you better in pointing you in the right direction.

Soap feed The soap feed hose on my Karcher 2650 does not suck up the soap into the washer. I pulled off the connector piece that the hose is connected to. I can blow through the hose. There is a little metal finger thing that you can tell pushes up into place when the water pressure is high. It seems like it is supposed to drop down and allow some soap through when the water is running. I found a loose(attached to nothing) gasket, looks like a little donut. It was just free floating in there. I’m thinking it may go over the finger mechanism. I just put it back on top of the finger, like a halo and put the screw in piece back in. Anyway, if you know, let me know how all that goes together.
ANSWER : I fixed mine works good too, watch my video step by step i put it on youtubehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFXSLOBL0Mg

ANSWER : Tune up motor, replace air filter/spark plug and oil.

Kranzle electric washer will not suck up soap
ANSWER : Hi, if it has a chemical injector on the machine then the pressure at the lance will have to be lowered for it to pull in soap. it works on a similar principle to how carburetors on cars pull in fuel, bernouli principle. high pressure at one side of an orifice going to low pressure at the other side which causes a negative pressure ( vacuum) which should pull in the soap. there should be a non return valve at the orifice (hole) which prevents the water back feeding into the soap container, it is quite common for this valve to get stuck, it is just a ball, spring and o ring , and the ball sticks to the o ring. if it is this system then take the soap pick up pipe off the injector and just push the ball off it’s seat with a bit of wire.If it is a high pressure soap system then that is different, but they usually work with an injector in my experience.try taking the high pressure hose off the front off the machine and running it, if it has an injector on it it should pull in plenty off soap.hope this helps ,andy
