Are you still looking for that belt diagram..? Is this for the motor
to trans (which is pretty simple) or the belt for the deck..? Couldn’t
find a diagram so hope my drawing comes out right.. This is for the “deck
belt” routing..!!! Back of mower is up here on the top..Left pulley (O\ /O) Right pulley …….Tension \ \@/ / Pulley ………….Engine \ @ / Pulley Front
of mower here, where the motor is.. Main thing is, you take the belt from BETWEEN the right
& left pulleys, pull it down and around the tension pulley..Hope this helps.. Think I have the same Sentinel..

The deck belt on your riding lawn mower connects the crank shaft to the lawn mower blades, causing them to turn. If you notice cracks forming in the rubber, consider changing your deck belt. To avoid interruption while mowing, change the deck belt before it breaks.
The “Deck Belt” goes around the pulleys right above the blades on the deck and then to a double pulley. The “Drive Belt” on your mower goes from the transmission, around an Idler pulley then over to the double pulley I mentioned before. The Drive belt also plays a role in making the wheels turn.
The ground drive belt connects the engine crankshaft to the transaxle pulley to drive the rear wheels. If the belt breaks, the lawn tractor won`t move. If the belt is worn, the lawn tractor moves sluggishly because the belt slips on the pulley.
Anatomy of a Belt

The vast majority of belts (once you`ve moved beyond the simple string) have two parts: the buckle and the strap. Many belts also have a keeper loop and/or an end tip (the end tip is usually metal, or leather on cloth belts).

A mower deck belt is a rubber belt on the inside of a lawnmower that allows a lawnmower`s moving parts to work.
The lower belt on the deck is called the arbor belt. This belt engages the pulleys on the deck and activates the blades.
Different Types of Belt Drives: There are different types of Belt Drives the Most Common Used Belt Drives are Flat Belt, V-belt, Round Belt, Circular Belt. Flat Belts are Mostly used in factories. V-Belt can transmit power from one pulley to another pulley.
Unlike chain drive, which requires very frequent cleaning, tightening and maintenance, belt drives are relative maintenance free. They run clean as they don`t have to be lubricated with sticky lubes and don`t require cleaning either.
Buckle: Belt buckle is a part that will keep the belt fixed on our waist. Fully metal and stainless hardware, this part of your belt with a different and designed look to help you reflect your style. The belt buckle can consist of a single part or a number of different parts.

Drive belt Have replace drive belt but mower still has no forward movement. Mower is only 2 years old but its already had to have another drive belt installed by the dealer last year. wanted to do it myself but when i install belt theres hardly any tension so mower doesnt move. Checked and rechecked the diagram and is installed correctly. Cant find a tensioner adjustment if it has one.

I NEED A DIAGRAM FOR REPLACING THE BELTS ON THE 3 BLADE 46″ DECK. MADE IN 2007

Do I have to remove the mower to replace the secondary drive belt?
ANSWER : Detaching the deck is the best way to do a drive belt, the first time you do the deck can be a mind bender, but you can mark the items place with tape and a pen so it makes it easier to install and or pictures. you can bend the belt guide bars rather than trying to remove them and bend them back into place when the belt is back on

Go to www.searspartsdirect.com and put in your exact model number (which you didn’t list) then when you get to the parts listing, look on the right hand side of the page and see if there is a link to manuals for your model , if so click on that. The manual should show you pictures of your belt.
