PSI (Pounds per Square Inch) refers to the amount of cleaning pressure the machine can produce. GPM (Gallons per Minute) is the amount of water that is coming from the machine.
Pounds per square inch (PSI) is the pressure that results when a 1-pound force is applied to a unit area of 1 square inch.
2000 to 3500 PSI pressure washers are suitable for more robust applications such as removing loose paint, mold, grime, embedded dust, mud, and dirt from surfaces and objects such as buildings, vehicles and concrete surfaces.
How PSI is calculated? PSI = (% of records based on scoring variable in Scoring Sample (A) – % of records based on scoring variable in Training Sample (B)) * In(A/ B) PSI < 0.1 – No change.
1 PSI = 0.070307 kilogram force per centimeter square To convert PSI value to kg/cm2 multiply it by 0.070307.
The PSI is an important part of the sentencing process as it outlines a detailed explanation of the crime, the defendant`s history, and a recommendation to the judge on the defendant`s sentence.
For example, a bicycle tire pumped up to 65 psig in a local atmospheric pressure at sea level (14.7 psi) will have a pressure of 79.7 psia (14.7 psi + 65 psi). When gauge pressure is referenced to something other than ambient atmospheric pressure, then the unit would be pound per square inch differential (psid).
2,000 – 2,900 PSI: This is a moderate strength unit used heavier residential tasks. These units are commonly sold as either electric or gas pressure washers. 3,000 – 6,900 PSI: These high pressure models are what professional pressure washers and contractors usually use.
Medium Duty 2000-2800 PSI
They`re great for cleaning concrete, brick, and wood. They work especially well for cleaning patios, sidings, roofs, decks, and fences. The medium-duty power washer is best for getting rid of stubborn stains and dirt that a low-duty pressure washer can`t clean.
