During a clutch check and adjustment service, your clutch will be examined for signs of excessive wear and will be adjusted so it can release properly. If you have a hydraulic clutch, it will be inspected for leaks and adjusted if necessary.
To adjust the clutch, use a 13mm wrench to loosen the nut which “locks” the adjusting tube that is threaded into your clutch lever bracket on the left handlebar. After you turn the nut counterclockwise a number of revolutions, you can then turn the tube clockwise, either with your fingers or an 11mm wrench.
Adjust the pressure by turning the valve stem with allen wrench in the hole through the spool. Screw stem up into block for more pressure and thread it down or out of block for less pressure.
A: For a hydraulic clutch linkage, a self-adjusting clutch like the Eaton Solo Advantage or recently released Eaton Evertough self-adjusting clutch is the better option. These clutches are distance sensing and maintain the proper 1/2″ distance between the clutch release bearing and clutch brake.
Advantage is a self-adjusting clutch, which keeps the clutch in constant adjustment by maintaining bearing release position. Only a self-adjusting clutch should be used when replacing a clutch in a hydraulic release system. Advanced vibration control technology provides exceptional durability and long life.
The Self Adjusting Clutch (SAC) counteracts the constant wear on the clutch linings by mechanical means and ensures a consistent pedal travel or rather pressure point. This is also known due to the shape of the diaphragm spring clutch.
Clutch pedal requires an adjustment
If the clutch pedal feels stiff, it might need to be adjusted, which can be good news as it means it`s not broken. However, over time, the clutch can get out of alignment.
On the other hand, too much free play can cause clutch drag, making your car creep forward while changing gears, which can be troublesome in heavy traffic. Therefore adjusting your clutch pedal and achieving the correct amount of free play is very crucial.
Over time the clutch wears down and requires adjustments. The clutch freeplay must checked and adjusted at every 6,000 miles or as specified in the maker`s service schedule. Newer vehicles use a hydraulic clutch and slave cylinder that are self adjusting and do not require adjustments.

ANSWER : Between the handle and the connection to the drive system, look for adjustment screw or nut and screw on cable.
