The gas tank was empty. I grabbed the wrong can to fill the tank, and later discovered it was kerosene when it wouldn't start. I removed the gas tank and drained the kerosene. Then I filled it up with gasoline, and it still won't turn over.

How to Identify and Fix Common Gardening Problems ?

We provide a variety of viewpoints on how to identify and fix common gardening problems. Our sources include academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays from experienced gardeners :

Begin isolating the problem by hooking a water hose to the washer`s inlet and turning it on. If water flows out the outlet, you know water is cycling through. If not, chances are your inlet filter is clogged. Remove and clean it, and you should be good to go.
If your pressure washer is refusing to work or even turn on, the culprit could potentially be the power switches. Most pressure washers use two micro switches that disconnect both the live and neutral connections between the supply and the motor. These switches can jam cutting the power out from reaching the motor.
Our top three choices of the type used in hot water pressure washer burners, in order of preference, are Kerosene, Off Road Diesel Fuel, and On Road Diesel Fuel. If you`re still unsure which fuel to pick for your specific set up, please don`t hesitate to contact High PSI with questions or requests.
It Can Harm The Unit

Without water to cool and lubricate it, the pump will work harder than it should, causing it to wear down quickly. This can happen even with just a few seconds of running the pressure washer without the water being turned on.

When the power washer does not turn on, it is either due to no water flow or no electricity going to the power washer. In other words, either a water flow or an electrical problem. The first area to check with the customer is water flow. There must be water flow through the system for the unit to turn on.
The Fuse. If the pressure washer does not start, then the first thing to check is the fuse in the plug. The reading you`re looking for is the same as it would be when connecting the two probes of the multimeter together (as you can see in the example of this video, this fuse is actually fine).
Water cannot be used as a fire extinguisher for fires involving petrol, kerosene or diesel. That`s because these substances are lighter than water and so, they float on it and continue burning. Moreover, the water will carry these inflammable substances further, and so, it spreads the fire even more.
The number one cause of low or no pressure when using a pressure washer is a blocked or worn nozzle. Blocked nozzles will prevent water from escaping, while a worn nozzle will allow too much water to pass through, causing the pressure to drop.

My dewalt dpd3300 ,why is it getting gas in the oil
ANSWER : This happens when the gas needle valve in the carburator sticks open. With it open, gas continues to flow into the carburator then into the cylinder and finally down into the crankcase. It can be caused by dirt in the needle valve’s seat, a stuck needle or float. Most of the time you can remove the float bowl and flush out any dirt. If there’s a lot you should consider flushing the gas tank and check your gas can for dirt. If the washer has been sitting for a long time the problem could be varnish is gumming up the carb works. Carb cleaner works well to flush that out. If the float, needle or seat is damaged you’ll have to rebuild or replace the carb.
