No solution other than have the seal replaced its cheap part but the labour content makes it cost.however the cost of a damaged engine & shaft make the repair worthwhile. overfilling of oil can cause this just check if the oil sump breather is clear as this can cause excess pressure on the seal.

How to Identify and Fix Common Gardening Problems ?

We provide a variety of viewpoints on how to identify and fix common gardening problems. Our sources include academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays from experienced gardeners :

Oil can come out of the exhaust of your lawn mower when it is tilted to the extreme, especially when the crankcase is overfilled with oil. A clogged air-filter can cause the oil to spill out of the exhaust vent, so simply replace it if this is the case.
If your lawnmower is leaking oil it could have a bad crankshaft oil seal. There is an oil seal on both ends of the crankshaft where it passes through the crankcase. The seal is pressed into the engine castings and forms a seal against the crankshaft. As the crankshaft rotates it will wear the seal.
Carburetor leaks can be caused by bad gaskets, an sticking float and other defects. If fuel is leaking from the bottom of the carburetor, the float bowl gasket might be dried out or missing. Check the connections to the fuel filter and to the filter housing. If any of the fuel lines are dry or cracked, replace them.
One of the easiest ways to fix the leak yourself is to use a stop leak additive or high mileage oil blend. Such products can soften and condition your car`s rubber seals to stop and prevent further automotive leaks. It may take up to a few hundred miles of driving before the leak is completely sealed.
The carburetor oil leakage phenomenon, is caused by the destruction of the balance system.
If a larger amount of oil is leaking and burning, you will see visible smoke coming from under the hood. Not only does this suggest a leak, it can also rapidly deteriorate other components in the vehicle. If you see smoke coming from your vehicle`s engine, get it checked by a professional immediately.
Oil leak to outside of engine: Oil leaking down the side of your engine likely means the head gasket has blown between an oil gallery and the outside of the engine. Even though this type of head gasket failure isn`t as immediately severe as others, you should still look into repairs before it gets worse.
Common signs include reduced engine performance, black smoke coming from the exhaust, backfiring, overheating, or hard starting.
Oil generally only gets into a lawn mower carburetor because it was overfilled by a large amount, or because it was flipped upside down, or run across a very steep hillside.
The gasket is probably the most common cause of oil leaks, especially in older vehicles or vehicles that are used frequently & have a high number of miles. The gasket is a seal that joins the head two metal parts of the engine, such as the between the block and the head(s) as well as the engine block and the oil pan.
The carburetor oil leakage phenomenon, is caused by the destruction of the balance system.
Plant life: Oil in soil can kill nearby plants and grass and prevent the growth of new vegetation. It can also kill trees by contaminating their roots. Animals and pets: Local wildlife and pets may drink groundwater contaminated with oil.

Husqvarna rancher, leaks oil when saw is off. where rubber hose meets pump, seems to fit together well but still leaks out. drains full tank of oil. any fixes or better parts.
ANSWER : The hose is leaking. You will have to replace the hose. You do not have to disassemble the saw in half as many seem to think. Just some of the parts that are in the way. You can insert a wire and pull the hose out from the oil tank along with the filter. It goes in and you remove only the parts that are in the way where the hose comes out.
