Mi-T-M 18-oz 10w-30 Conventional Pressure Washer Pump Oil.
An oil change should be performed on your pressure washer`s engine after the first 20 hours of operation, or after the first month of use. Afterwards, the engine`s oil should be changed every 100 hours of operation or 6 months, whichever comes first, to help keep the engine running smoothly and efficiently.
Description: Chevron Supreme SAE 5W30 motor oil is ideal for use in pressure washers that use four-stroke gasoline engines.
SAE 10W-30 or SAE 10W-40 are oils that are useful in both hot summer and cold winter days. For example, if you are looking to use your pressure washer and the temperatures are about 40 degrees (F) or less, SAE 10W-30 will be your failsafe option. Anything about 40 degrees, it can still be your best option.
Most pressure washer pumps use a 30w non-detergent oil. This is because most pressure washer pumps use splash lubrication. This is a process that includes rotating “dippers” that throw oil into the pistons and cylinders.
Generally speaking, SAE 5w-30 or SAE 10w-30 are good grades for pressure washers, but checking your owner`s manual will tell you for sure.
Pressure washer water pumps need relatively low oil recommended by the manufacturer, as specified in the owner`s manual. (Purchase pre-measured bottles of pump oil for water pumps without dipsticks.) Never use special oil additives or detergents, unless specified in the owner`s manual.
Never start or run your pressure washer without water flowing through the pump. Running a pump when dry can destroy it in a few seconds.
Check the oil level of the high pressure pump. If the oil is milky or the oil level is below the minimum mark, change or fill with SAE 20W or 30W non-detergent oil.
Suitable for use where a straight 15w40 Non-Detergent oil is specified for use in various makes and models of pressure pumps. This high quality oil is blended from virgin base oils and carefully selected additives to help protect washer pumps from corrosion and oxidation.
When filling your pump with oil, it`s crucial to use non-detergent motor oil to keep things from clogging internally. Detergent additives can cause the pump to malfunction over time. Never put regular motor oil into your pressure washer pump.

How to add oil to pressure pump – Homelite For Husky – Pressure Washer Pump 2700 Psi Vertical 7/8"
ANSWER : Not supposed to add or change oil in that model of pump. But if you must. Remove the pump from the engine. If the pump does not budge at all from the engine shaft, try penetrating oil. If even then you are able to remove it, place the pump with the legs down on a bench. Remove the three bolts that hold the wet end (water pump) on to the oil end. Then remove the four bolts under that equally and carefully. Close to the end of removing the bolts hold pressure down because there are three piston springs that will pop it off if you are not prepared for it. 80W90 full synthetic is a good replacement. But I’m not sure how much goes in them.
